A Glimpse Into Early Years at Weston Green School

Early Years education is the foundation for future educational success, providing a strong base for lifelong learning and the behaviours needed for positive learning experiences, including cognitive and social development.  Our children have agency and curiosity to learn so we carefully plan activities to ensure that the serious business of play encapsulates the vital learning opportunities to allow them to achieve way beyond expectations.  Our specialist and decidated Early Years team have created a bespoke curriculum to focus on each unique child and to give them opportunities to interact in positive relationships and enabling environments that encourage engagement, recognise their strengths, provide challenge alongside opportunities to broaden their knowledge and provide a thirst to know more.  This video demonstrates how we do this at Weston Green School.
