ZooLab visit

Posted: 7th February 2023

On Monday 6th February, ZooLab visited year 1 and 2 to enhance the learning that is taking place in science lessons this term. We had the chance to look at and handle a range of animals including a hissing cockroach, a scorpion and an African snail. The children explored the differences between vertebrates and invertebrates and were able to classify the animals into the correct groups based on their prior learning in science lessons. They learnt lots of interesting facts and asked lots of thought provoking questions, proving themselves to be curious and aspirational learners.
