Hampton Court Palace visit

Posted: 22nd November 2023

On Friday 17th November, our Year 4 children went on a fascinating trip to Hampton Court Palace to enhance their understanding of the Tudor era. Engaging in an immersive workshop ‘Jobs at Court,’ the children absorbed a wealth of historical facts and actively participated in captivating reenactments. Adding a musical touch to their learning, they mastered a Tudor-era song that resonated with the rich heritage of the UK. Navigating the intricate maze provided an adventurous highlight, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills!

To document their experience, the budding historians sketched various facets of the majestic palace, capturing the essence of Tudor architecture.

The trip to Hampton Court Palace was a vibrant blend of education and exploration, leaving the children with enriching memories and a deeper appreciation for the Tudor period in British history.
