We are thrilled to share with you the wonderful experiences our children had during their recent visit to the Gurdwara in Hounslow as part of their exploration in Philosophy and Religious Education.
Architecture
Some of our inquisitive learners were immediately struck by the sheer beauty of the Gurdwara’s architecture. They couldn’t help but marvel at the intricate designs and ornate details that adorned the building.
Cuisine
Meanwhile, others, our adventurous foodies, found themselves delightfully immersed in the flavours of traditional Sikh cuisine. From the aromatic spices to the comforting textures, every bite of the meal was tasty!
These experiences highlight the diverse facets of our trip to the Gurdwara. Beyond the surface beauty and delicious food, our children had the opportunity to engage with Sikh practices, values, and beliefs firsthand. Through the guided tour, interactive sessions, and discussions, they gained a deeper understanding of Sikhism and its significance in the lives of millions around the world.
The trip to the Gurdwara provided a unique opportunity for our children to embrace cultural differences with open hearts and minds, fostering a spirit of inclusivity and understanding within our school community.
