The Big Questions

Posted: 5th July 2024

Welcome to The Big Questions, one of our new initiatives for this year, exploring ordinary and puzzling concepts through a critical and philosophical thinking approach.
Each week there will be a whole school Big Question, for us to reflect upon, to discuss in our assemblies, with our teachers and to prompt discussions for you as families too. We want you to get involved in the Big Questions!

This week the Big Question is:

“Can you be friends with someone all of the time?”

We have discussed the concept of whether it is possible to be friends with someone all the time and how friendship can be re-built following a disagreement. There were lots of different views!

Enjoy talking around this as a family this weekend and we look forward to hearing your child’s thoughts and feedback as we discuss this in school after half term.

Excellence in ISI 2025

We are thrilled to share that Weston Green School has received an exceptional report from the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). Recognised for our strong culture of ambition, curiosity, and kindness, we are especially proud to have been awarded a Significant Strength, a distinction given to fewer than 1 in 10 schools.

The report highlights our high-quality academic curriculum, nurturing pastoral care, and inspiring learning environment, where every child is valued and supported to thrive.
