African Activities

African Workshop

Yesterday, our Year 4 and Pre Prep children had an enriching and exciting experience with African Activities, who provide African-themed school workshops. They took part in an array of activities, starting with an energetic and engaging drumming session, learning about rhythm and teamwork. The dance workshops followed, filled with high-energy moves as the children learned traditional African dances.

The storytelling workshops captivated the children with tales of Anansi, the cheeky West African spider. Our commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) is reflected in these activities, as they provide a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to explore and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Africa. Through drumming, dancing, and storytelling, Weston Green School is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment.

Excellence in ISI 2025

We are thrilled to share that Weston Green School has received an exceptional report from the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). Recognised for our strong culture of ambition, curiosity, and kindness, we are especially proud to have been awarded a Significant Strength, a distinction given to fewer than 1 in 10 schools.

The report highlights our high-quality academic curriculum, nurturing pastoral care, and inspiring learning environment, where every child is valued and supported to thrive.
