At Weston Green School, we place great importance on working in partnership with our local community. We realise the significance in building connections with the local community, to enrich the school curriculum and promote well-being among both our children and school staff. These partnerships enable the exchange of good practices and innovative ideas that can be implemented to the benefit of the entire educational community.
Our Partners include:
Girls on Board
Empowering girls to find their own solutions
Girls on Board is an approach which helps girls, their parents and their teachers to understand the complexities and dynamics of girl friendships. The language, methods and ideas empower girls to solve their own friendship problems and recognises that they are usually the only ones who can.
Working with Boys
Creating cultures of mutual respect
Working with Boys is a whole-school, iterative programme of study that uses guided reflection to empower boys to self-regulate their attitudes and behaviour.
Rail Safe Friendly
We are proud to collaborate with Rail Safe Friendly to enhance the safety and learning experience of our children. We are currently working towards our gold status with them.
Rail Safe Friendly provides schools and the rail industry with an opportunity to work together towards a common goal to improve rail safety in all schools across the UK using content from the Network Rail Switched On Rail Safety website
